Terms and Conditions

1. About these terms
Rapid Response Industrial Group Ltd. ("RRIGL", "we", "us"), registered at 1934 Yellowhead Trail NE, Edmonton, AB T6S 1B4, operates rapidresponseind.com. These terms apply to everyone who uses the website, sends us an inquiry through the contact form, or requests an appointment through our online booking page.
These terms do not cover emergency response, or any services, training, exercises, plan preparation or equipment rentals. Those are agreed separately in writing.
2. Accepting these terms
You accept these terms by using the website, by sending an inquiry, by ticking the consent box when you book, or by continuing past a notice that links to them, whichever happens first. If you do not agree, please do not use the website, send an inquiry or make a booking.
3. This is not an emergency channel
Do not use this website, the contact form or the booking page for an emergency or an active incident. If anyone is injured or in danger, call 911 first. Then call our 24-hour line at 1.844.774.4911. We do not monitor the contact form or the booking page for emergencies. Sending an inquiry or making a booking does not request, dispatch or reserve an emergency response, and we make no promise about response or arrival times through them.
4. Using this website
You may use the website for your own lawful purposes. You must not interfere with it or try to get around its security, including the bot check. You must not collect its content or data by automated means, or send false, abusive or misleading inquiries or bookings. We may block access that we believe breaks these rules. We do not promise the website will always be available or free of errors.
5. Information on the website and the coverage tool
The website is for general information. It is not professional, legal, engineering or regulatory advice. The coverage tool shows distances and drive-time figures that come from a model and from third-party routing and mapping sources. They are estimates. They are not a commitment to respond to, arrive at or serve any location within a given time, and they can change. Weather alerts and other third-party information are shown as their sources provide them. Whether we can serve a particular site, and when, is confirmed only by us directly, by phone or in writing.
Drive times are calculated with Mapbox's routing service, which uses live traffic where available. Mapbox's driving directions disclaimer also applies: you use any route at your own risk, and road signs, signals and officers always take priority over a route. The full disclaimer is in Mapbox's terms (opens in a new tab).
6. Inquiries through the contact form
When you send an inquiry, we use what you give us to reply to you, as described in our Privacy Notice, and we email you a copy. An inquiry is not a contract and does not oblige either of us to do anything. We aim to read inquiries but do not promise a reply within a set time. Please do not include passwords, payment card numbers, health information or confidential details about an incident in your message. To report an incident, call 1.844.774.4911.
7. Bookings
What a booking is. A booking is a request for a non-emergency appointment with our staff, such as a consultation, a plan review, a training discussion or a rental inquiry. It is confirmed when we send you a confirmation email and the booking page shows it as confirmed. We may decline, change or reschedule a booking, for example when our staff are responding to an incident. If we do, we will contact you using the details you gave us.
What a consultation is and is not. Consultations and plan reviews are for general discussion and information. They are not legal advice, engineering design, regulatory approval or certification, and they do not create a contract for services. Any work, training, exercise, plan preparation or equipment rental needs a separate written agreement or quote. Nothing said in a consultation guarantees an outcome, a price, availability or a response time.
Changing or cancelling. Please change or cancel using the link in your confirmation email, at least 24 hours before the appointment if you can. No fee applies.
Meetings. Appointments are held online through Microsoft Teams. A booking does not include a visit to your site. We do not record the meeting unless we ask you first.
What to put in the notes. Please keep the booking notes short and general. Do not include confidential details about an incident, passwords or payment card numbers.
How we contact you. We use your email and phone number to confirm, remind you about, and follow up on the booking. We will only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time.
8. Links and third-party services
The website links to other websites, including association sites that open in a new tab, and uses third-party services such as Microsoft Bookings and Mapbox maps. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Their own terms apply when you use them.
9. Our content
The content of this website, including its text, photos, graphics, logos and the RRIGL name, belongs to RRIGL or its licensors. You may view and print it for your own use. You may not copy, republish or use it commercially without our written permission.
10. Privacy
How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Notice.
11. Ending these terms
You can stop using the website at any time. If you break these terms, we may block your access, decline an inquiry or cancel a booking. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as section 9, continue after that.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you use the website, send an inquiry or make a booking applies to that use.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it through good-faith negotiation for 30 days after one of us gives the other written notice of it. After that, the courts of Alberta, sitting in Edmonton, have exclusive jurisdiction, except that nothing here limits a right an individual consumer has under the law of their own province to bring a claim there.
